SurfLoch is at the cutting edge of wave pool design.  Surfloch's patented technology produces waves that look, and feel like authentic oceanic waves.    Working closely with Mr Tom Lochterfeld - CEO of SurfLoch LLC,  Adaptint designed and developed the Ocean Park Dynamic Simulation - a unique model designed to simulate the operation of a wave pool facility over an extended period - a whole year. 

 

The Ocean Park dynamic model enables SurfLoch to model the financial viability of a proposed development with a level a detail and accuracy that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.  The model is an agent based simulation developed using AnyLogic's process library and makes extensive use of the model's internal SQL database.  The model is tightly integrated with Microsoft PowerBI supporting deep-dive analysis of the model generated data. 

 

The model can track 100's of thousands transactions generated during each model run.  Transactional data is linked to an database 'account' for each respective 'surfer' agent, enabling the model to track transactions down to a single customer.  The model automatically generates demographic groups resembling the characteristics of a target customer base and market segment that a wave pool is intended to serve.   All transactional and 'customer' data is saved to PowerBI, enabling the automated creation of revenue forecasts and proforma profit and loss statements for each modelled scenario.
